About the Role
The Manager Program Delivery is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient delivery of Colac Otway Shire’s Capital Works Program and operational projects. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position will ensure the smooth implementation of projects across the organization, in line with Council’s project management framework. The Manager will lead the Project Delivery Team, providing oversight, coordination, and guidance, and play a critical role in embedding fit-for-purpose project management methodology, tools, and training across the organization.
Additionally, the role is responsible for managing disaster recovery projects, ensuring that community support is provided in a timely manner through government disaster recovery funding programs.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced leader in program and project delivery, with a strong background in managing capital works and operational projects. The successful candidate will possess proven skills in program management, governance, and reporting, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes that align with Council’s goals. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential, as well as experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivering projects safely and efficiently.
