We are seeking a friendly enthusiastic person to join our Maternal and Child Health team in the permanent part-time position of Maternal and Child Health Administration Support, 16 hours per week working on Mondays and Thursdays.

This position is based in Colac.
As Maternal and Child Health Administration Support you will:
- Provide high level administrative support to the Maternal and Child Health services, ensuring a smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain strict confidentially and uphold the highest ethical and privacy standards when handling personal data, engaging in customer interactions and internal communications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Become competent in the use of CDIS software including the management of calendars, appointments, group processes and reporting.
- Manage incoming birth notifications and input data into CDIS system and arrange for the first five appointments.
- Manage incoming calls, ensuring courteous and effective communication and follow up where required.
- Order, collect and display health information, library books and pamphlets for the centres.
- Order and prepare fact-sheets, home visiting forms, information and health packs for parents.
- Prepare the Colac centre and other venues, if required, for parent group meetings.
- Maintain the Maternal and Child Health information on Council’s website.
- Provide support to nurses in the use of electronic record management system, Content Manager and Windows based programs
- Prepare agendas and take minutes at meetings as required.
- Undertake general administrative activities.

- Excellent computer skills and knowledge including the production and publishing of documents and plans in the printed and interactive electronic format.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Salary information: $34.02 to $35.84 per hour plus superannuation.
