Coordinator Project Management

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Project Delivery team as Coordinator Project Management in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.

This position is based in Colac.

This is a leadership position that will ensure that you and/or Council:

  • Delivers its Capital Works Program and nominated operational projects in line with the Project Management Framework (PMF).
  • Has a capable, well-supported project delivery team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and implementation of the PMF.
  • Lead improvements to PMF tools, processes and templates.
  • Ensure compliance with PMF governance, stage gates and reporting requirements.
  • Directly manage selected projects end-to-end to required governance and budget standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Program and Project Delivery
  • Governance, Project Management Framework Accountability and Improvement
  • Procurement, Contract and Financial Management

About You:

To support your success in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project or Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Significant experience delivering built-environment projects end-to-end.
  • Experience in governance, reporting and project controls.
  • Contract administration and supervision experience.
  • Highly developed stakeholder communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Project and MS Office.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
  • Local government experience; experience managing politically sensitive projects; experience in community engagement would be advantageous

Salary information:  $111,104.76 - $124,013.76 per annum plus superannuation
