We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced individual to join our Service sand Operations team as Supervisor Roads General Maintenance in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.

This position is based in Gellibrand.

 

This is a leadership position that will ensure that Council:

 

  • Responds to customer service requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complies with approved works programs in line with budget responsibilities
  • Provides a safe work environment for all team members
  • Provides clear direction for team members and coordinates the daily task across the nominated work sites including all resources, advising plant, materials and personnel requirements to minimise delays and maximise organisational and customer efficiencies

About You:

To support your success in this role you will have:

 

  • Experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering projects including road construction and maintenance
  • Experience in setting priorities, planning workloads, and meeting deadlines within allocated resources available
  • Ability to adapt to increased responsibility and respond positively to changing work practices
  • Ability to lead and manage a team to achieve set targets and goals within budget constraints
  • Demonstrated experience in Project management – ensuring accurate record keeping and monitoring of budgets
  • Ability to effectively lead, motivate and support work teams
  • Current manual drivers licence essential

Salary information: $74,285.74 to $84,259.80 per annum including industry allowance plus superannuation
