Enterprise IT Architect

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Information Services Department as Enterprise IT Architect in a Casual capacity. It is anticipated that this role will be a fixed term for a period of eight weeks. 
 

Position Purpose

The Enterprise IT Architect role is a time‑bound, outcomes‑focused, enterprise‑wide assessment. It will provide Council with a clear view of:

  • the current technology environment
  • opportunities to consolidate and reduce duplication
  • security and risk posture
  • a prioritised, high‑level roadmap to support executive decision‑making
 

About You:

To support your success in this role you will have:

Essential

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and skill levels
  • Contemporary knowledge of IT solutions including Cloud, SaaS and on prem.
  • Proven experience developing IT application landscape diagrams
  • Experience producing high quality enterprise architecture reports
  • Experience identifying opportunities for IT system consolidation and integration

 

Desirable

  • Experience in complex, regulated environments such as local government or public sector environments
  • ITIL certification or similar

Salary information: $70.28 to $78.45 per hour plus superannuation
