Full-Time Parks and Gardens Apprenticeship

(Certificate III in Parks and Gardens)

Services and Operations is part of the Colac Otway Shire Council and is responsible for maintenance and construction of parks and gardens, sealed and unsealed road and sporting grounds plus much more throughout the Colac Otway Shire.

An exciting opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens is on offer. The successful applicant will be working with the Parks and Gardens team maintaining and beautifying the Botanic Gardens, street scapes, roadside vegetation areas and parks throughout the Colac Otway Shire.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

  • Willingness to complete off the job training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoy being part of a hardworking dynamic team
  • Ability to show initiative and work with limited supervision at times
  • A passion or career interest in Horticulture - Parks & Gardens
