We are seeking a customer focused individual to join our Colac Otway Performing Arts & Cultural Centre (COPACC) team as COPACC Front of House/Administration Officer in a Temporary Full-Time, Fixed Term until 30 June 2025 capacity.

The COPACC Front of House/Administration Officer's primary objective is to ensure that Council:

  • Provide high quality customer focused Front of House services at COPACC.
  • Provide administrative support to the Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre team for the development, planning and implementation of COPACC programs and services.
  • Administer the COPACC event bookings software.
  • Facilitate setup, pack down and during-booking service of events.
  • Ensure the safety of patrons and security of the building when on duty.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support as the first point of contact for all COPACC customers and clients.
  • Assisting with administration relating to COPACC box office sales and ticketing system including administering the COPACC event bookings system.
  • Responding to and preparing correspondence relative to projects, events and enquiries, including monitoring of incoming communication.
  • Performing function/event duties as required to support users of the venue.
  • Supporting the COPACC team in providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Managing minor hires from enquiry stage to booking, implementation and reconciliation.
  • Assisting hirers with event setup ensuring all appropriate equipment is operational before patrons arrive.

About You:

To support your success in this role you will have:

  • A high understanding of, and commitment to, quality customer service.
  • High level administrative skills and computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, think quickly and solve problems.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of OH&S requirements as they relate to a performing arts and events centres.
  • Knowledge of event and entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Experience with event booking and ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol or willingness to obtain.
  • Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Salary information: $67,226.64 to $70,836.48 per annum pro rata plus superannuation.
